Modelling and Characterization Platform (WP4)

Leader:  Prof. Enrico Sangiorgi, IUNET (Italy)

 

The objectives of the Modelling and Characterization Platform are to continue and further develop the positive experience of the SINANO NoE by integrating and validating the modelling approaches and tools against ad-hoc, well-characterized template devices.

It will bring together the most promising characterization techniques and modelling tools-methods to tackle the main device physical challenges foreseen for the 22 and 16 TN (mobility enhancements, off currents, interface effects, low dimensional transport).


It will also tune up and validate modelling and characterization techniques to be exploited in the frame of the Flagship Projects and design the test structures to be fabricated in the joint processing platform of WP3 for the implementation of characterization experiments aimed at the calibration of the modelling tools.
